Why generic prep fails in New York

The MBLEx does not test Eastern Medicine. New York does.

About 20 of 140 NYS questions (~14%) pull Eastern content from inside the real exam sections. National prep books skip it. That is how people who already passed the MBLEx walk into the NY boards cold.

Five Element cycles and organ pairs

Meridians and point landmarks

Yin / Yang the way the boards use them

Qi language the MBLEx never asks

NYS prep vs generic MBLEx prep

Hard differences only. No soft marketing rows.

From students

“Failed NYS twice on generic prep. Eastern wiped me out. The memory aids here finally stuck. Passed on my next sit.”

Sarah K.

Pacific College NYC

“Passed the MBLEx, then failed NY twice. I had no idea how much was not on the national exam. All the extras like diagrams, memory tricks and explanations got me an 83% on try #3!”

Mohan M. · SUNY Niagara

“No fluff. Questions and brain tricks. Full-time job, seven weeks. That was enough.”

Jenn M. · New York College of Health
