How to take a paper exam with a pencil and a clock
No flag button. No strike-through that the computer remembers. You need a mark system you can still read at question 120.
Phone quizzes train a reflex that does not exist in the room. You cannot tap a flag and trust the UI to bring you back. You get a booklet, a clock, and whatever system you brought in your head.
I like a dumb system. Circle the answer in the booklet. Put a dot in the margin for 'come back if time.' Put an X only when you are sure you bubbled it. Do not invent a six-symbol code you will forget when your hands get cold.

Pace is roughly a minute and change per item if you want a look-back. Check the clock every 35 questions, not after every one. If you are behind, stop decorating the margins and pick.
