How to use the two memory tips without memorizing the mnemonic
If the hook does not spit the answer in two seconds, it is a poem. Poems do not pass.
Each item in this bank has two tips on purpose. One is supposed to be verbal (rhyme, alliteration, acronym, etymology). The other is a picture. If you only chant Tip 1, you have one retrieval path. Exam nerves love cutting that path.
A tip has to name the answer. 'Picture waves' does not. 'Picture waves of effleurage on a spastic limb' does. If a hook could fit four options, it is decoration.
Keep the tip, throw the tip, or rewrite it in your notes
You hear 'pisiform' and get pinky/ulnar
You remember a vibe and none of the words
'Glenoid' because it was shorter
Does not fight a distractor
Kite for trapezius, diamond for rhomboids
SP-6 is point six, 3 cun up
Sound in Tip 1, picture in Tip 2
Two paraphrases of the same joke
Quiz (tips sit in review)
Tip 1 is sound. Tip 2 is a picture. They should not be the same sentence twice.
